WhistlerWEB for a daily rate of $10.00 With Tax $11.45 weekly
rate of $25
+ tax = $28.50 Can or $20.00 US. Payment to WhistlerWEB can be
made by American Express, MasterCard, Personal cheque, money order or
cash. This provides
unlimited Internet access, local call (which are free) and no one-time
setup fees. Around 4:00 is our busy time so Please do not leave
your connection on if you are not using it. We can even
set the account up before you get here so you can test it but you will
only be charged for the time in Whistler.

- Call WhistlerWEB on 905-4759 for account
hookup, username and password. The user name is always the date want
the connection shut off plus you initials IE: If you name is John Doe
and leaving Dec 9 it would be (dec092002jd) and the password is
always (temp) no
spaces lower case.

Instructions and configurations are below, important Information being

- To create a connection to WhistlerWEB, follow
these simple steps: (These steps assume that you are using Win95 or
98) in XP its in Start / Programs / accessories /communications/new
connection wizard.
- Double click on the ‘My
Computer’ icon.
- Double click on the ‘Dial-Up
Networking’ icon.
- Double click on the ‘Make new
connection’ icon. This will popup with a new connection wizard.
- Call the new connection
‘WhistlerWEB’. Click on the ‘next’ button.
- Type in the telephone number NO

are 10 digit dialing if you have to dial 9 to get an out side line put

Click on the ‘next’ button.
- You have now successfully
created a new dial up connection called WhistlerWEB. Click on
‘Finish’.
- You now have a new icon called
WhistlerWEB in the create new dialup folder. Right mouse click once on
this icon and a menu will Choose ‘Create Shortcut’ from this menu.
It will ask you if you want the shortcut to be placed on your desktop
at which point you click on ‘YES’.
- Close down all remaining boxes.
Back on your desktop you now have an icon called ‘Shortcut to
WhistlerWEB’.
- To access the Internet you now simply have to
double click on this icon, enter the user name and password that you
have been provided with at the top of the page. (User name &
password is always in lower case no spaces !) And click on
‘connect’. Once connected to WhistlerWEBsites.com, simply click on
your Internet browser icon, be it Internet Explorer or Netscape
navigator and you can surf the web or check you email as usual.
Usually there is no need to change your email settings to be able to
check your email. However, If you encounter any problems with trying
to send email, It's because of tight security on our part. To overcome
this, simply temporarily change your email settings as follows:

Outlook Express Click on
TOOLS / Accounts / Mail tab / click on your mail account / properties
/ servers tab / then type in the outgoing Mail
(SMTP) mail.whistlerweb.com or the IP of the mail server
